Pengaruh Penerapan Model Kooperatif Tipe Time Token Berbantuan Games Edukatif Baamboozle terhadap Hasil Belajar IPAS Siswa Kelas IV SD

Abstract


This study explores the effect of applying the cooperative learning model specifically the Time Token type integrated with the Baamboozle educational game platform on the learning outcomes of science and social studies (IPAS) among fourth-grade students at SDN Oro-Oro Ombo, Kota Madiun. Utilizing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, namely the Posttest-Only Control Group Design, the research involved two classes: the experimental group, which received instruction using the Time Token model supported by Baamboozle, and the control group, which was taught through traditional lecture and discussion methods. Data were gathered using a multiple-choice test to assess cognitive learning outcomes. The results showed that the experimental class achieved an average posttest score of 79.6, with a high of 95 and a low of 65, while the control class averaged 68.2, with scores ranging from 55 to 85. An independent samples t-test revealed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference between the two groups. These findings demonstrate that incorporating the Time Token cooperative learning strategy with Baamboozle has a beneficial effect on students’ IPAS learning achievement.
