Impementasi Media Pembelajaran Smart Box dengan Model Pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament pada Mata Pelajaran IPAS

Abstract


This study aims to describe the implementation of the Smart Box learning media combined with the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model in the Science and Social Studies (IPAS) subject for fifth-grade students at SDN Pilangbango, Madiun City. The background of this research is the low student learning motivation and the lack of innovation by teachers in utilizing learning media. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation and interviews. The results indicate that the use of Smart Box media and the TGT model can enhance student engagement, enthusiasm, and understanding in IPAS learning. This media supports interactive and enjoyable learning, aligning with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. However, the study also identified obstacles, such as students' lack of self-confidence during presentations, especially when observed by peers from other classes, and the extended time required for learning activities. Overall, the combination of Smart Box and TGT has proven effective in creating participatory, creative, and contextual learning experiences.
