Mengenalkan Literasi Numerasi melalui Aktivitas Sehari-hari

Abstract


Numeracy literacy is the basic ability to understand, interpret, and use number and mathematical concepts in everyday life. This article discusses how we can learn and practice numeracy by using accessible examples in everyday life. Through a contextual approach or learning based on active activities only, children can more easily understand numerical concepts because these activities directly relate to their own experiences. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observations of 15 elementary school students. The results of the study show that the integration of daily activities such as shopping, cooking or playing can significantly improve students' understanding of numeracy. This article concludes that numeracy learning based on daily activities can increase children's interest in learning and absorption of mathematics materials.
