Implementasi e-Ensiklopedia Tumbuhan Tingkat Rendah Pada Pembelajaran Biologi di SMAN 6 Madiun

Abstract


  

The availability of biology teaching materials that reflect local biodiversity remains an obstacle in the learning process at SMAN 6 Madiun. Material on lower plants such as mosses and ferns is generally presented abstractly, without adequate visual support or environmental context. This study aims to design and implement an e-Encyclopedia of lower plants as a learning medium that highlights local potential. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a triangulation approach through interviews, direct observation, and visual documentation. The validation results show that this medium has a high level of feasibility, with an overall score of 1.492 and an average percentage of 83.1%. The usability aspect scored 87%, readability and visual design 86.1%, utilization in learning 77.2%, and student motivation and interest in learning 75.2%. These findings indicate that the e-Encyclopedia not only conveys appropriate information but is also designed to be communicative and easily understood by students. This medium encourages students to actively engage in the learning process through activities such as observation, comparison, and direct understanding of plant species in the surrounding environment. Thus, this e-Encyclopedia has proven to be effective as a contextual, visual, and experience-based biology learning medium.
