Eksplorasi Praktik Model Pembelajaran Biologi Pada Tingkat SMA: Studi Deskriptif di Wilayah Jabodetabek

Abstract


  

Learning models are conceptual frameworks used by teachers to design and manage effective and meaningful learning processes. This study aims to analyze the types of learning models implemented by high school biology teachers in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the study involved biology teachers from various senior high schools. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews conducted in January 2024, and analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. The findings reveal that the most commonly used learning models are Problem-Based Learning (32.85%), followed by Project-Based Learning (31.44%), and Inquiry-Based Learning (22.85%). These models are preferred for their ability to promote student engagement and enhance scientific literacy through reading, writing, and independent information-seeking activities. The results indicate a growing orientation among teachers toward 21st-century learning skills, emphasizing problem-solving, collaboration, and learner autonomy..
