PENYUSUNAN ENSIKLOPEDIA BERBASIS KEANEKARAGAMAN BURUNG DI KAWASAN SITUS MANGIRAN SARADAN KABUPATEN MADIUN
Abstract
This study aims to identify the types of Aves that live in the Mangiran Saradan site and to determine the diversity index and the results are used to compile the Bird Encyclopedia of the Mangiran Saradan Site Area, Madiun Regency. The method used in this research is field observation with the point count technique. The result of calculating the average percentage of validation of the Bird Encyclopedia of the Mangiran Saradan Site Area of Madiun Regency is 70.75% where the percentage shows that the Encyclopedia has good criteria with a few revisions. The research found 34 species of birds from 10 orders and 23 families living in the Mangiran Site area. The calculation of the Shannon-Wiener diversity index shows that the area's bird diversity is moderate with a value of 2.79. The socio-cultural environmental conditions in the Mangiran Saradan Site area still hold tightly to the culture passed down from their ancestors where there are still many traditions that are still held by the people of the Mangiran Site area such as the traditions of the Cultural Parade, Nyadran, Suran and the tradition of taking source water from Sendang Mangir when they want to hold a celebration.
