Representation of AI Systems through the Animation 2050: Legacy of the Future

Abstract


The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has become a major driver of digital transformation across various sectors. One of its most critical applications lies in information systems, which play a vital role in decision-making, service efficiency, and enhancing national competitiveness. In the context of Indonesia, the integration of AI into information systems represents a strategic step toward realizing the Indonesia Emas 2045 vision a national aspiration to become a prosperous, equitable, and developed country.

To strengthen public understanding and acceptance of this technological integration, educational and visual approaches are essential. Animation serves as an effective communication medium for conveying complex concepts in an engaging and easily comprehensible manner. The animated film 2050: Legacy of the Future, a collaborative project between students and lecturers of the Faculty of Computer Science at Universitas Duta Bangsa Surakarta, exemplifies how visual media can imaginatively and relevantly represent technological futures.

This animation not only illustrates future technological advancements but also demonstrates how AI-based information systems can be utilized to improve human quality of life. Therefore, examining the integration of AI in information systems through visual approaches such as animation can be considered a strategic effort to foster collective understanding, enhance societal readiness for the digital era, and support the achievement of the Indonesia Emas vision.
