Upaya Peningkatan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar IPAS Siswa Kelas VI dengan Pendekatan Blended Learning pada SD Negeri Banjarejo

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to improve students’ learning motivation and learning outcomes in IPAS through the implementation of blended learning. A Classroom Action Research design was employed in this study and implemented in two cycles involving the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection., and reflection stages. The subjects were 28 sixth-grade students of SD Negeri Banjarejo, Madiun. Data were collected through learning motivation questionnaires, learning outcome tests, and observation sheets. The results indicated that blended learning effectively increased students’ learning motivation, reflected in higher levels of participation, interest, confidence, and responsibility during learning activities. Furthermore, students’ learning outcomes improved significantly, as shown by the increase in classical learning mastery from 21.43% in the pre-cycle to 85.71% in the second cycle. These findings demonstrate that blended learning is an effective instructional approach to improve motivation and learning outcomes in IPAS learning at the elementary school level
