Peningkatan Kemampuan Numerasi dengan Penerapan Metode Bermain Berbantuan Media Kartu Angka dan Stik Angka
Abstract
This study aims to determine the improvement in numeracy skills in Group A students at Al Hidayah II Kindergarten, Madiun City, through play-based methods using number cards and number sticks. This study was Classroom Action Research (CLRS). The subjects were 15 students from Group A2 at Al Hidayah II Kindergarten, Madiun City, in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using a quantitative approach. The results showed that the average numeracy skill of the students in the pre-cycle was 39.2 (low); it increased in Cycle I to an average of 57.1 (adequate). In Cycle II, the students' numeracy skills reached an average of 73.8 (high). Teacher activity data during Cycle I was 59.4 and increased to 81.3 in Cycle II. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the method of playing with the help of number cards and number sticks can improve the numeracy skills of group A students of Al Hidayah II Kindergarten, Taman Kota District, Madiun in the 2025/2026 academic year
