Konseling individual pendekatan person centered therapy untuk mengurangi adiksi game online
Abstract
Abstract
Online games are one of the technological developments that is currently familiar to the wider community. Especially for students, they are already familiar with online games, and the diversity of types can result in many unique characteristics. With the various ways of playing and the unique and interesting side of the game, game users will always play the game with the aim of winning the game. The use of online games that are not well controlled will put a person in a state of addiction. This addictive state will have an impact on various aspects of students, such as physical, psychological, academic and social relationships. This research was carried out to determine the effect of a client centered approach in reducing online game addiction among students at SMPN 9 Madiun and will be carried out using an experimental method with a single subject design which provides space for researchers to determine research samples according to a set of appropriate criteria. The results obtained from this research are that the Client Centered Approach is effective for treating Online Game Addiction in students as indicated by a decrease in the duration of playing online games
