Konsep Konseling Gestalt berbasis budaya pesantren untuk meningkatkan kediplinan siswa di sekolah
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to study gestalt counseling based on pesantren to improve student's discipline in school. Discipline is needed in the development of student development to a better future. Student discipline problems at school can not be separated from school rules. The cultivation and application of an educational discipline attitude is not raised as an act of restraint or restriction of the freedom of the student in committing acts at will, but it is no more an act of direction to a responsible attitude and having a good and orderly way of life.Student discipline problems require special techniques in handling them. Approaches deemed appropriate to improve student discipline in schools are gestalt counseling based on pesantren. The gestalt counseling process includes a variety of focus handling, ie transition, avoidance and unfinished busines, impasse and here and now. Pesantren-based gestalt counseling emphasizes the focus of handling here and now, meaning here and now with the aim of students being able to understand themselves as a student of Islamic background. Through gestalt counseling based on pesantren, students are able to improve discipline in school as a student, social beings and creatures of Allah SWT.
