Abstract

This study aims to analyze of the impact of Cash Flow and Leverage on Earnings Management and examines whether the Board of Directors moderates these relationships. Using a quantitative causal approach, secondary data were collected from annual reports and financial statements of Property and Real Estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for 2021–2025. Purposive sampling initially produced 215 observations, with 171 retained after Casewise Diagnostics. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis. The findings show that Cash Flow and Leverage both have a negative and significant relationship with Earnings Management. However, the Board of Directors does not significantly moderate either relationship.
