Abstract

Capital market investment is an investment activity that is now a familiar thing in the business world. An investor in investing in market capital generally aims to maximize profit income so that stock prices become an important aspect in maximizing profit income. The purpose of this study was to empirically determine the effect of capital structure and profitability on stock prices with disclosure of green banking as a moderating variable. The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sampling technique where the population of banking companies was used as the sample in this study, totaling 47 companies. This study uses quantitative methods with hierarchical regression analysis techniques with variable moderation. The results of this research show that capital structure has no effect on stock prices. Profitability has a significant positive effect on stock prices. The results of the research in moderation show that green banking disclosure does not moderate the relationship between capital structure and profitability on the stock prices of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2022.
