UTILIZATION OF ONLINE SCHOOL NEWSPAPER AS SCHOOL INFORMATION MEDIA FOR STUDENT

Abstract

This research aims to design and build a web-based school online newspaper application in an effort to assist schools in communicating and providing information to their students. Utilization of information media that are usually used by schools is to use information media in the form of wall magazines and this is less effective because it takes a lot of time and money. Utilization by using this online media is felt to help schools in conveying information to their students because of its ease of management and also easy access because only use the internet and smartphone or computer. This data collection technique is done by interview, observation, and also literature study to obtain information relevant to the research conducted. In making this application using the PHP programming language and Mysql Database as well as additional Bootstrap framewok to enhance its appearance. Based on research conducted by obtaining information by interviewing, observing and studying literature, then the data are analyzed to create a system design as needed.
