Ironi Inovasi Media Pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar dan Upaya Deep Learning di Era Digital

Abstract


Pembelajaran di sekolah dasar saat ini cenderung mengalami ketidaksesuaian antara kemajuan inovasi media digital dengan rendahnya penerapan deep learning yang mendukung pemahaman konsep secara mendalam. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ironi tersebut serta menganalisis bagaimana inovasi media pembelajaran dapat dioptimalkan untuk mendukung deep learning di era digital. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 12 guru sekolah dasar yang menerapkan media pembelajaran. Instrumen penelitian meliputi analisis konten media pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam proses belajar-mengajar, kuesioner, dan wawancara mendalam untuk memahami motivasi serta pemahaman subjek terkait konten dalam media tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan di dua sekolah dasar di Kota Probolinggo. Hasil studi mengungkap bahwa meskipun inovasi media digital berkembang pesat dari sisi visual dan interaktivitas, terdapat gap konseptual yang signifikan dalam integrasi prinsip-prinsip deep learning, khususnya pada aspek berpikir kritis dan konstruksi makna. Temuan ini menyoroti perlunya paradigma baru dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran yang tidak hanya menonjolkan teknologi, tetapi secara sadar merancang desain didaktis untuk mendorong pemahaman konsep secara mendalam. Dengan demikian, inovasi media pembelajaran harus bertransformasi menuju pendekatan yang lebih holistik dan terintegrasi dengan deep learning, sehingga dapat benar-benar berkontribusi dalam membangun generasi emas yang kompeten dan kritis di era digital.
