Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta mendeskripsikan bagaimana keefektifan metode direct instruction dalam satu kali pertemuan pada siswa kelas 8 SMP mengenai materi struktur kalimat bagian fungsi sintaksis. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yang mana data dimasukkan dalam bentuk verbal. Peserta didik setelah melakukan pembelajaran menunjukkan hasil pemahaman yang belum cukup memuaskan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan beberapa faktor penting yang mempengaruhi efektivitas hasil pembelajaran. Yaitu, metode yang digunakan, frekuensi pembelajaran, dan kemampuan pendidik.
