Abstract

Involvement of Indonesia in the ASEAN economic market competition brought rapid social change and the complex associated with the demands of the public and industry about improving the competence of human resources in Indonesian society. Changes and developments of this era requires the individual to make adjustments. For individuals the ability of self menyesuaiakan is intended to allow himself able to survive (survive) that lingers in various pressures, demands and the current changing times. Various challenges, problems and needs of society in general is also constantly changing. Problems and needs of people who are more varied too demanding / implicated in the form of services that should be provided increasingly diverse kinds. To help resolve the problems in the industrial society required the assistance of a professional counselor. The presence of a professional counselor should be able to answer the challenges, problems and needs of the industrial society era MEA.
