Peran dan Tantangan Penanaman Pendidikan Karakter di Masa Kini dalam Kegiatan Kepramukaan

Abstract


Scouting activities are a process in education to form activities for children that are carried out outside formal education and family education using the basic principles of scouting. The role of scouting in the formation and development of character in students is a unique problem to be researched. In this research, we discuss character building at the Senior High School level or what is commonly referred to as the Rover Scouts. Rover Scouts are students in a group of scout movements ranging in age from 16 to 18 years. Activities that are interesting and challenging and have education for the physical and spiritual development of students and also for the process of character building in children. This research is in one of the high schools located in Magetan City, East Java, namely SMKN 2 Magetan, whose main purpose is to find out the character and discipline through scouting extracurricular activities and to find out the impact of scouting activities in shaping character in students.
