Faktor Terkikisnya Pendidikan Karakter saat Ujian Sekolah Dasar

Abstract


Character education in elementary schools is an important aspect in shaping children's personality and morals from an early age. However, in reality, character education often declines due to various factors. This article examines the factors that cause the erosion of character education in elementary schools. One of them is the role of parents who shape the formation of children's character. The results of the study show that the scope of teaching in schools is less than optimal and there are not enough role models from the community and family. The less than optimal role of the family in providing direction also weakens the effectiveness of student character education. Therefore, synergy between schools and families is very much needed to strengthen character education, so that children can grow into individuals with good morals and are ready to face the challenges of life.
