Implementasi nilai kejujuran dan toleransi dalam kehidupan masyarakat: studi observasi di desa sidolaju

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of honesty and tolerance values in the daily lives of the people of Sidolaju Village. These values are an important part of character education that plays a role in creating social harmony and strengthening inter-community relations. The methods used in this study were observation and in-depth interviews with community leaders. The results of the observation showed that honesty values are reflected in economic activities such as trade and joint financial management, while tolerance is seen through mutual respect between residents of different religions, ethnicities, and views. However, challenges are still found, especially in dealing with differences of opinion and external influences that can trigger social conflict. This study concludes that the implementation of honesty and tolerance values in Sidolaju Village is going quite well, but requires ongoing support from various parties so that these values can be maintained and passed on consistently to the next generation.
