Pembentukan Karakter Religius Melalui Pembiasaan Doa dan Ibadah di Kelas III Sekolah Dasar Sukowinanggun 1 Magetan

Abstract


The formation of religious character is on important part of character education hat must begin at the elementary school level. Religious values such as spiritual discipline, honesty, responsibility, and empathy become the moral foundation for the personal development of student. The habit of prayer and worship in schools is one of the methods commonly applied, but its effectiveness is often less than optimal because it is carried out formally without deep meaning. This study aims to analyze the implementation of spiritual habituation in elementary schools and evaluate its influence on  the formation of students religious character. The results of the study indicate that habituation activities carried out routinely are able to form positive behavior, but challenges such as low active participation of students, weak role models from educators, and lack of support from the outside school environment are still obstacles. Therefore, a more reflective and integrative approach is needed that prioritizes the internalization of values, the active role of teachers as role models, and synergy between schools and families in forming religious character that is deeply rooted in students personal awareness, not just formal habits.
