PERAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER TERHADAP SISWA UNTUK MENCIPTAKAN SEMANGAT TINGGI TERHADAP PROSES BELAJAR DISEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of character education on the learning enthusiasm of elementary school students. According to data from the Ministry of Education and Culture (2023), 45% of elementary school students experience a decrease in learning motivation. Character education is seen as a strategic solution because it not. only shapes personality and morals but also increases students' intrinsic motivation in the learning process. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach that focuses on three main aspects: the real effect of character education on learning motivation, effective implementation methods in schools, and ideal collaboration patterns between schools and families. The research findings show that the integration of character values such as responsibility, honesty, and discipline into subjects, accompanied by role models by teachers, plays a significant role in fostering interest in learning. In addition, real-world-based learning methods and innovative models such as Inquiry-Based Learning and Flipped Classroom have been shown to be effective in increasing student engagement. Close collaboration between schools and parents is also an important factor in strengthening student character. Therefore, the integration of comprehensive character education can create a positive learning environment that motivates students to achieve academic and moral success in a balanced way.
