MEMBENTUK KARAKTER KEDISIPLINAN SISWA SELAMA KEGIATAN BELAJAR MENGAJAR DIKELAS

Abstract


The problem in this study is that students do not reflect discipline in the school environment with violations of school rules. This study uses a library research type. The subjects in this study were teachers and students. The results of the study showed that the strategies used by teachers in instilling students' disciplined character are making plans and learning tools that contain disciplined character values, integrating values through role models and providing guidance to students, making written and unwritten rules, developing an understanding of values through punishments and rewards, as well as habits and through intracurricular, extracurricular activities, and involving students to represent the school in competitions. The class teacher's strategy in instilling students' disciplined character cannot be separated from the existence of supporting and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors include supervision from teacher involvement and student self-awareness. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include student self-awareness, family factors and environmental factors. The influence of this study is expected to have an impact on teacher strategies in instilling students' disciplined character in elementary schools.
