Studi Pustaka: Penggunaan E-LKPD Interaktif Berbasis Etnomatematika terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Kelas VI Sekolah Dasar

Abstract


Critical thinking is one of the higher-order thinking skills that is essential for students to possess in the 21st century, especially in mathematics learning. Developing this skill at the elementary school level requires innovative and contextual learning approaches that actively engage students cognitively. One effective approach is the use of interactive electronic student worksheets (E-LKPD) based on ethnomathematics, which integrates mathematical concepts with local cultural elements to enhance the relevance and depth of student understanding. This literature study aims to examine and analyze the effectiveness of using E-LKPD in improving the critical thinking skills of sixth-grade elementary school students. Based on the literature review, the integration of ethnomathematical elements such as traditional architecture and traditional foods has been shown to help students connect abstract mathematical concepts with real-life experiences. The findings also suggest that this media provides a meaningful learning experience and supports the development of critical thinking indicators, namely interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference.
