Keluarga Sebagai Sumber Pendidikan Karakter Bagi Anak

Abstract


Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran pola asuh orang tua dalam pembentukan karakter dan kepribadian anak. Pendidikan karakter sejak usia dini dianggap penting karena masa kanak-kanak adalah periode kritis dalam pembentukan karakter seseorang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur atau penelitian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai literatur dan disajikan dalam bentuk narasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh demokratis oleh orang tua lebih efektif dalam membentuk kedisiplinan dan karakter anak dibandingkan dengan pola asuh permisif dan otoriter. Hambatan dalam peran orang tua mencakup faktor internal, seperti kurangnya intensitas komunikasi karena kesibukan, dan faktor eksternal, seperti pengaruh lingkungan sosial dan teknologi. Kesimpulan penelitian menekankan pentingnya peran keluarga dalam pendidikan karakter anak, dengan memberikan teladan, tanggung jawab, dan pengawasan yang tepat. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar pendidikan karakter dimulai sejak usia dini untuk mengembangkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas di masa depan.
