Author Guidelines

General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of ELITICS Proceeding must follow rules below. 

  1. Paper must be original, never published in other publication or in deep review process in other publications (The Attached Statement) proceeding included.
  2. Manuscript should be written in English and be submitted online via http://prosiding.unipma.ac.id/index.php/EDULITICS . Author must register or login in order to make submission.
  3. The manuscript should be written in 1,15 space using essay style academic English on A4 paper (with maergins left and top are 2.5cm, right and bottom are 2 cm) in Microsoft Word program (.doc, .docx, or .rtf), in size 10 of Times New Roman
  4. The paper should include a minimum of  6 pages and maximum 16 pages of text, unless there is an attachment, maximum tolerance of 20 pages with single spaced, and justify.
  5. Use of a tool such as Mendeley or Zotero for reference management and formatting, and choose APA 6th  style.
  6. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the ELITICS template.
  7. The references of the article are in the form of journals and non-journals which are published in the last 10 years

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

ELITICS's spirit is to disseminate articles published are as free as possible. Under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License, ELITICS permits users to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work for non-commercial purposes only. Users will also need to attribute authors and ELITICS to distributing works in the journal and other media of publications. 

4. Rights of Authors

Authors retain all their rights to the published works, such as (but not limited to) the following rights;

  • Reproduce the work
  • Prepare derivative works based upon the work
  • Distribute copies of the work
  • Perform the work publicly
  • Display the work publicly
  • Copyright and other proprietary rights relating to the article, such as patent rights,
  • The right to self-archive the article (please read our repository policy),
  • The right to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the article's published version (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal (English Teaching Journal : A Journal of English Literature, Language and Education).

5. Co-Authorship

If the article was jointly prepared by more than one author, any author submitting the manuscript warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to be agreed on this copyright and license notice (agreement) on their behalf, and agrees to inform his/her co-authors of the terms of this policy. ELITICS : Seminar on English Education, Literature, and Linguistics Proceeding will not be held liable for anything that may arise due to the author's internal dispute. ELITICS : Seminar on English Education, Literature, and Linguistics Proceeding will only communicate with the corresponding author.

6. Royalties

Being an open accessed journal and disseminating articles for free under the Creative Commons license term mentioned, author(s) are aware that English Teaching Journal : A Journal of English Literature, Language and Education entitles the author(s) to no royalties or other fees.
