PENGARUH KOMBINASI DAUN TEMBELEKAN (Lantana camara L.) DAN DAUN PEPAYA (Carica papaya L.) SEBAGAI BIOPESTISIDA TERHADAP HAMA KUTU DAUN (Aphis sp.) PADA TANAMAN CABAI (Capsicum annum L.)

Abstract

Aphids (Aphis sp.) is one of the pepper plant pests (Capsicum annum L.). aphids are usually colonized at the bottom of chili leaves, the characteristics of plants that are attacked by these pests can be seen clearly by the eyes as there are brown spots on the leaves, leafs, wrinkles, twisted, and the plant becomes dwarfed. The purpose of this research is to know whether leaf combination (Lantana camara L.) and papaya leaf (Carrica papaya L.) have an effect on aphid pest mortality (Aphis sp.) Using spraying method using 4 treatments with 6 repetitions. The design of the research used was a complete randomized design performed in vitro by spraying method. Variation of combination of concentration used in this research were T1 + P1 (50gr + 35gr), T2 + P1 (75gr + 35gr), T1 + P2 (50gr + 45gr) and T2 + P2 (75gr + 45gr). Data collection techniques were done by observing the aphids directly and recorded the number of aphids deaths for 3 days every 24 hours. Based on the graph of application of leaf combination solution of leaf and papaya leaf showing T1 + P2 concentration has faster kill time in killing aphids in the first 24 hours by 30%. Based on the result of one-way ANOVA statistic test, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between leaf combination treatment group (Lantana camara L.) and papaya leaf (Carrica papaya L.) as biopestisida.
