Manajemen konseling individual (studi kasus: pelaksanaan konseling individual di SMP N 7 Madiun)

Abstract

Layanan konseling individual salah satu model layanan dalam bimbingan dan konseling yang bersifat responsive, bertujuan pemberian bantuan mengatasi masalah konseli. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen pelaksanaan konseling individual di SMPN.7 Madiun. Jenis penelitian field research yang bersifat  penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan datanya menggunakan instrument non tes berupa wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Populasi penelitian adalah guru-guru SMPN.7, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel bertujuan (purposive sampling) berjumlah 3  orang konselor. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: 1). Mekanisme pelaksanaan layanan konseling individual di SMP Negeri 7 Madiun melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengorganisasian dan pengawasan. Penentuan konseli berdasarkan hasil asesmen instrumen non-tes, 2). Pendekatan dan model konseling yang dipergunakan pada umumnya masih bercorak konvensional. Namun juga sudah menerapkan pendekatan konseling untuk kasus kasus tertentu, sekalipun belum maksimal  karena belum adanya bahan perlakuan (stimulus material) dalam bentuk model pelaksanaan  konseling individual yang disusun oleh konselor.   3). Laporan hasil layanan konseling individual hanya dicatat dalam bentuk Dokumen Laporan Hasil Konseling Individual, bentuk lain seperti verbatim, laporan kepuasan siswa belum  ada.

Abstract
Individual counseling services, one of the service models in responsive guidance and counseling, aim to provide assistance to overcome counselee problems. This study aims to find out how management of individual counseling is carried out at Madiun Middle School. This type of field research is qualitative descriptive research with the method of data collection using non-test instruments in the form of interviews, documentation and observation. The study population was teachers of SMP 7, the sampling technique used purposive sampling amounted to 3 counselors. The results of the study concluded that: 1). The mechanism for the implementation of individual counseling services in SMP Negeri 7 Madiun through the stages of planning, implementation, organization and supervision. Determination of counselees based on the results of the non-test instrument assessment, 2). The approach and counseling model used in general are still conventional in style. However, it has also applied a counseling approach for certain cases, even though it has not been maximized because there is no treatment material (material stimulus) in the form of an individual counseling model compiled by the counselor. 3). Reports on the results of individual counseling services are only recorded in the form of Individual Counseling Results Reports, other forms are verbatim, student satisfaction reports do not yet exist.
