VARIASI BAHASA DALAM INTERAKSI SOSIAL DI PASAR SELAKAU KABUPATEN SAMBAS

Abstract

The problems in this study were the language variation and the factor of language variation in the communication of the social interaction at Selakau Sambas Market. This study aimed to describe the language variation and the factor of language variation in social interaction at Selakau Sambas Market. This study used interview method consisted of study design, population and sample (the study subjects) and the object of the study, the technique and tool of data collection and the technique of data analysis. The results of this study revealed that people in Selakau Market where the interaction was vary used Sambas Malay, Chinese and Indonesian language. The factors caused the specific language variation were social, culture, and study.
