Kualifikasi dan Kompetensi Tenaga Pendidik serta Kependidikan Di MAN 4 Madiun dalam Menunjang Pembelajaran Siswa
Abstract
The quality of education is largely determined by the quality of human resources, particularly teaching and educational staff. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the qualifications and competencies of teaching and non-teaching staff at MAN 4 Madiun and their impact on learning quality. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed using purposive sampling of 15 respondents, including the principal, teachers, librarians, laboratory assistants, and administrative staff. Data collection involved structured observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Results show that 100% of teaching staff meet minimum S1 academic qualification standards, with 60% holding professional teaching certificates. Among 30 teachers, 73% are civil servants and 27% are honorary staff. Educational staff demonstrate relevant competencies with 80% having appropriate educational backgrounds. The study identifies key supporting factors including active participation in professional development programs and achievement in competitions, while challenges include limited training budgets and high workloads. The qualifications and competencies significantly contribute to student achievements, including regional and provincial competition winners and 95% university admission rates. This research provides evidence-based recommendations for sustainable human resource development in madrasah education.
