Penyusunan E-book Penanaman Bayam Hijau (Amaranthus hybridus L.) Berbasis Riset

ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine the effect of applying casgot fertilizer, guano, and bioslurry on the growth of green spinach plants (Amaranthus hybridus L.) as a basis for creating a research-based e-book for educational media. The background of this research is the need for sustainable agriculture and efforts to reduce dependence on inorganic fertilizers by using more environmentally friendly organic fertilizer alternatives. The research was conducted in Paron Village, Ngawi, and at the Pharmacy Laboratory of PGRI Madiun University from April to July 2025. The research employs a quantitative experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), consisting of 13 treatment combinations of doses of casgot fertilizer, guano, and bioslurry, each repeated three times. Observed parameters include plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width, wet weight of the plant, chlorophyll content, and iron content of Green Spinach (Amaranthus hybridus L.). The results of this study were then compiled into a research-based e-book with a feasibility percentage of 78.12%, which means that it is sufficiently valid with revisions and can be used as an educational tool on the benefits of organic fertilizers that can be used in applied biology courses.
