Penyusunan E-Ensiklopedia Berbasis Riset Keanekaragaman Larva Insekta Akuatik di Sungai Selo Ondo Ngawi Sebagai Bioindikator Kualitas Perairan
Abstract
This study aims to compile an e-encyclopedia based on data identifying the diversity of aquatic insect larvae in the Selo Ondo Ngrayudan River, Ngawi, as a bioindicator of water quality. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach with field and laboratory surveys at five observation stations using purposive sampling. The e-encyclopedia was compiled using an R&D method with a three-stage model: define, design, and development. The instruments used included media expert validation, material experts, and response questionnaires for teachers, students, and the community. The research findings showed that 10 families of aquatic insect larvae from 4 orders were found in the Selo Ondo River. The larval diversity index showed a value of 1.338 (moderate quality), indicating that the water was under certain ecological pressure but not yet heavily polluted. The media expert validation results obtained a percentage of 97.9% and the material expert validation results obtained 85.2%, both of which were qualified as “very good”. The average response rate of respondents was 90.1%, which was rated “very good.” The conclusion of this study is that the research-based e-encyclopedia on the diversity of aquatic insect larvae in the Selo Ondo River in Ngawi is valid and very suitable for use as a medium, learning resource, and teaching material to support animal diversity.
