Abstract


ABSTRACT

This research was motivated by the need for students and lecturers to have a contextual and locally-based plant ecology practicum guide. The study aimed to develop a practicum book based on vegetation analysis in the Bukit Petrok Ponorogo area as a systematic and applicable learning medium that also supports conservation awareness. The research employed the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The findings revealed that Bukit Petrok has high vegetation diversity, with 115 species from 52 families across various growth forms. The practicum book was validated by material and media experts, and received highly positive responses from students with an average score of 4.56. In conclusion, the vegetation analysis-based practicum book is feasible to be used as a learning medium in plant ecology as it enhances conceptual understanding, analytical skills, and promotes conservation awareness.
