Implementasi E- DIGESTIVA (Digestive System by Activities) Pada Pembelajaran Biologi di SMAN 6 Madiun
Abstract
Biology education in high schools often faces challenges in conveying abstract and complex material, such as the human digestive system. This material requires an approach that bridges scientific concepts and students' visual and contextual understanding. One alternative that can be used is educational comics specifically designed to support the learning process. This study aims to implement the DIGESTIVA (Digestive System by Activities) comic media in biology learning at SMAN 6 Madiun. The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach, involving 31 students of class XI E as research subjects. Data were obtained through a media effectiveness questionnaire and analyzed descriptively and qualitatively using triangulation techniques. The results of the study show that DIGESTIVA comic media has good effectiveness in four aspects, namely, the usefulness of comics, readability and design, utilization in learning, and motivation and interest in learning. The aspect of comic usefulness shows an average effectiveness of 74.2% with a good category. The readability and design aspect obtained an average effectiveness of 76.2% with a good criterion. The aspect of utilization in learning showed an average effectiveness of 68% with a good category. The aspect of motivation and interest in learning obtained an average effectiveness of 68.2% with a good criterion.
