Abstract


This study aims to develop encyclopedia as a result of identification of epidermis derivative of leaves of solanales order in vegetable plantation area of sarangan and to know the diversity of leaf epidermis derivatives at Solanales order. The encyclopedia uses data from the identification of the diversity of the Solanales order epidermal leaf epidermis which is compiled into a teaching material of encyclopedia. The data in the study were derived from the identification of the diversity of the Solanales leaf epidermis derivatives found in the Sarangan vegetable plantation area. The encyclopedia is organized on 4 components, namely content/material feasibility components, presentation components, linguistic components and readability, and the components of kegrafikan. The encyclopedia validation results that have been performed by expert validators 1 and 2 have an average of 88.8% and are included in the criteria of the module validation assessment with the "Very Valid" category so that it can be used as a reference material for students. The identification of leaf epidermal derivatives was performed on the basis of anatomical observations. Leaf epidermis derivatives found in the order of Solanales such as stomata and trikoma, stomata types found mostly are the type of anisocytic ie the cell cover accompanied by 3 neighboring cells that are not as large. While the type of trichomes found in a variety of inter-species such as non glanduler stellata, shaped simple hair resembles a needle, uniselluler rod-shaped head.
