Training on the Use of Web-Based Interactive Learning Media

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the competencies of teachers at SDN 1 Mojorejo, Madiun City, in utilizing web-based interactive learning media through the implementation of the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS).
The training focuses on developing educational websites using the free hosting service InfinityFree. The installation and configuration of Moodle are carried out using the Softaculous feature available on the hosting panel, making it easier for participants to independently set up an online learning system without requiring advanced technical skills. Participants are then guided to integrate the H5P plugin into Moodle as a tool to create interactive content such as quizzes, interactive videos, and educational game-based activities. The training methods include material delivery, live demonstrations, hands-on practice, and intensive mentoring. The results show that the teachers were able to create and manage a basic LMS and produce more engaging and interactive learning content for students. This training not only provided technical skills but also encouraged a shift in the learning paradigm from conventional to digital approaches. It is hoped that this activity will serve as a starting point for the development of teacher professionalism and the improvement of learning quality in primary school environments, particularly in facing the era of technology-based education.
