Peningkatan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar IPAS Dengan Menggunakan Media Google Sites Pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN Banjarejo

Abstract


The purpose of this study is to use Google Sites-based learning resources to improve the motivation and learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at Banjarejo Elementary School, Madiun City. The low motivation of students to engage in IPAS learning, which contributes to less than ideal learning outcomes, is the context in this study. This study is a Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. A total of 28 fourth-grade students of Banjarejo Elementary School became the research subjects. Tests (learning outcome evaluation), questionnaires, and observations (motivation observation sheets) were used as data collection methods. Quantitative and qualitative descriptive analyses were conducted on the data. Both variables experienced a significant increase. With an average activity percentage of 35.71% (low category) in the initial condition, student learning motivation increased to 71.43% (high category) in Cycle I and then to 89.29% (high category) in Cycle II. The completion rate of classical learning increased from 35.71% in the pre-cycle to 67.9% in Cycle I and 85.71% in Cycle II, exceeding the established success indicator of 75%. It was determined that the motivation and learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at Banjarejo Elementary School in science subjects can be improved by the efficient use of Google Sites media
