PENGARUH PROFITABILITAS DAN SOLVABILITAS TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN DENGAN KEBIJAKAN DIVIDEN SEBAGAI VARIABEL MEDIASI

Abstract


The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence on Profitability and Solvency on Company Value with Dividend Policy as a Mediating Variable in Food and Beverage sector companies in 2018-2022. A population of 84 companies with a purposive sampling method obtained a sample of 21 companies. The research method used is quantitative using multiple linear regression analysis and the Sobel test and with SPSS 20. The results of this study indicate that profitability and solvency do not affect dividend policy, dividend policy and profitability have a significant effect on company value, solvency does not affect company value, dividend policy is unable to mediate the effect of profitability and solvency on company value. This research is important to do because information related to the company's business performance is important for the needs of external parties, namely investors as a consideration for investment decisions.
