Program Kampung Iklim sebagai Implementasi Komitmen Kota Madiun terhadap United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)
Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pelaksanaan Program Kampung Iklim sebagai wujud implementasi komitmen Kota Madiun terhadap United Nation Framework Convention Of Climate Change (UNFCCC). Program Kampung Iklim sangat berpengaruh dalam mewujudkan tujuan utama Indonesia yang telah berpartisipasi dalam United Nation Framework Convention of Climate Change (UNFCCC) yang menghasilkan sebuah perjanjian bernama Paris Agreement dan menghasilkan sebuah dokumen yang memuat komitmen negara dalam mengurangi emisi serta menyesuaikan diri dengan dampak iklim berupa Nationally Determined Contribution atau NDC. Penelitian ini menggunakan mix method dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan, konseptual dan komparasi, Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi lapangan, dokumentasi dan wawancara, lokasi penelitian di Kota Madiun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Program Kampung Iklim dilaksanakan di Kota Madiun dengan konsisten melaksanakan 3 (tiga) kegiatan utama pada Program Kampung Iklim yaitu kegiatan Adaptasi, kegiatan Mitigasi, dan Kelembagaan. Ini menunjukkan Kota Madiun mewujudkan implementasi komitmen terhadap United Nation Framework Convention Of Climate Change (UNFCCC). Saran disampaikan kepada semua pihak di berbagai lapisan pemerintahan dan Masyarakat agar menguatkan implementasi program kampung iklim ini, juga optimalisasi CSR dari pihak BUMN dan atau swasta dalam memperlancar program ini.
