PENERAPAN METODE BERJUBEL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR “MANUSIA DAN LINGKUNGAN” PADA SISWA KELAS VII A SMP NEGERI 1 TAKERAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2017/2018

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in activity and learning outcomes of science subject matter Population density related to the environment and the subject matter of pollution and environmental damage related to human activities for students of class VII A SMPN 1 Takeran through the use of the Berjubel method. The method used is a classroom action research method consisting of two cycles. In the first cycle, learning was carried out using the group method in large groups, while in the second cycle the use of the amazing method was in small groups. In each cycle consists of four stages of research, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of the research data were analyzed using comparative descriptive followed by reflection. Comparative descriptive is done by comparing data on initial conditions, cycle 1 and cycle 2, both for learning activities and learning outcomes. The results shows that the use of the Berjubel method can increase the science learning activities. It was proven that the percentage of students in the category of good learning activities increased from the initial condition of 29% to 64% in the first cycle and to 82% in the second cycle or in the final condition increased by 51% from the initial condition. Secondly, the use of the Berjubel method can improve the science learning outcomes, it was proven that the percentage of students' mastery learning increased from the initial condition of 57% to 64% in the first cycle and to 74% in the second cycle or in the final condition experienced an increase of 17% from the initial condition.
