ANALISIS BIODIVERSITAS GULMA DI AREAL PERSAWAHAN KECAMATAN BALEREJO KABUPATEN MADIUN BERDASARKAN ASPEK MORFOLOGI SEBAGAI BAHAN PEMBUATAN ENSIKLOPEDIA BOTANI

Abstract


Rice is a food crop and serve as the staple food of Indonesian society. The need for food in the form of rice is increasing every year. Increased food needs are sometimes not offset by agricultural production. The decline of agricultural products results from weeds. Weeds lead to a decrease in rice yield in both quality and quantity. This study aims to determine what types of weeds are found, the index of species richness and diversity of weeds, and how to create an encyclopedia of the results of the identification weeds in paddy fields Balerejo Subdistrict. This research was conducted in rice field area of Balerejo Subdistrict. Data collection is done by survey location to know the weed vegetation in it. Samples were taken in each village in Balerejo Subdistrict, which amounted to 18 villages. Data collection is done by using quadratic method that is by observation of sample plot in the field. Weeds were taken by placing a swath of 1m x 1m squares of 15 plots by random sampling in each village. The result of the research is used as the material of making the botanical encyclopedia. The results of biodiversity analysis showed that on the rice plant land found 24 species of Ageratum conyzoides, Alternanthera sessilis, Amaranthus viridis, Commelina benghalensis, Commelina diffusa, Eclipta prostrata, Ipomoea aquatica, Ludwigia adscendens, Ludwigia octovalvis, Marsilea minuta, Mimosa diplotricha, Monochoria vaginalis, Portuloca oleracea, Cynodon dactylon, Echinochloa colona, Echinochloa glabrescens, Eleusine indica, Ischaeum rugosum, Leptochloa chinensis, Cyperus difformis, Cyperus iria, Cyperus rotundus, dan Fimbristylis miliacea

. Weed species weed index is 6.60 with high category, while the index of diversity of weeds is 1,233 with medium category. Encyclopedia validation results with the validator 1 as a media expert validator 2 80.263% and 86.842% as subject matter experts and included in the criteria valid
