ANALISIS KETERAMPILAN GURU DALAM PROSES PEMBELAJARAN IPA BERBASIS LABORATORIUM DI MTS AL-ISLAM JORESAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2016/2017

Abstract


Laboratory utilization or laboratory-based science teaching activities are part of the teaching and learning process. One method of science learning that can create the conditions for achievement of scientific concepts of science and science IPA process components is to implement learning in the laboratory in the form of lab. The ability of teachers in managing the laboratory becomes very important because effective laboratory management is very determine the size of the contribution of the laboratory in the implementation of the learning process of science. Laboratory-based science teaching conditions are directed to encourage students to find out knowledge from various sources through practicum and teachers rather than being a learning resource for students. Based on these problems, the observer conducted a research in MTs Al-Islam Joresan, Mlarak Sub-district, Ponorogo Regency to study more deeply about teacher's skill in science learning process of laboratory bebrbasis. The research approach used is qualitative descriptive approach of case study type. The case study was conducted on science teachers at MTs Al-Islam Joresan, which amounted to 4 teachers. The data used is observation and closed questionnaire. Observations were made to observe the condition of the laboratory room and the process of science learning in the laboratory. Closed questionnaires are addressed to students to find out the students' response to the science-based science lesson. The results of the analysis of the skills of teachers in the process of science-based science-based learning shows the ability of science teachers skills in MTs Al-Islam in science-based IPA learning is good enough with a percentage of 61-80%. IPA teachers in MTs al-islam Joresan have good skills in using laboratory equipment and maintaining the laboratory equipment, so that in the science-based learning process teacher-based teacher can easily in the delivery of the material.
