PENYUSUNAN MODUL PEMBELAJARAN GENETIKA SISWA SMA KELAS XII BERBASIS FENOMENA LOKAL DI DESA KARANGPATIHAN KABUPATEN PONOROGO

Abstract


This study aims to determine the pattern of mental retardation gene inheritance in Karangpatihan, Balong, Ponorogo, the supporting factors for the inheritance of mental retardation genes in Karangpatihan, Balong, Ponorogo, and compiled research modules as a learning  resource. Researchers used the methods (1) observation, (2) interviews, and (3) documentation. The observation method is used to obtain information and data directly from the field by directly observing the condition of the idiot village as a local phenomenon in Karangpatihan Village. The interview method was carried out by researchers with informants to obtain information (data). Researchers conducted interviews with the village head and then to community and family leaders who had a history or who had family members with mental retardation conditions (idiots). The next data collection method is documentation. Researchers documented activities during the research in Karangpatihan Village. The data were analyzed using pedigree map analysis to determine the pattern of inheritance of mental retardation genes and module development based on the research results found that the pattern of mental retardation gene inheritance in Tanggungrejo Hamlet, Karangpatihan, Ponorogo, including X- linked genes. The results of the validated module analysis showed "very good" and feasible to use with a percentage of 86.72%.
