MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) DAN KAITANNYA DENGAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR TINGKAT TINGGI PESERTA DIDIK

Abstract


Good learning is learning that involves students to be more active. The use of the learning model is very important for its role in the learning process. The problem based learning (PBL) learning model is learning that presents problems, so students will be more active in finding answers and solving problems from the questions that have been given. Using the learning model is expected to be able to train students in developing their abilities. Higher order thinking skills are needed by students to solve problems, especially in daily life. Someone is said to be able to solve the problem if he is able to critically examine a problem and be able to use his knowledge creatively into new situations. This ability is also known as higher order thinking skills. Therefore the purpose of writing this study is to describe the relation between higher order thinking skills in learning and problem based learning (PBL) learning models. The method used by using qualitative descriptive method. Data collection using literature. The results of the discussion of this paper concluded that higher order thinking skills are abilities that need to be developed by students through a problem based learning (PBL) learning model.
