PENGEMBANGAN LKS BERBASIS HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILLS (HOTS) DENGAN PICTORIAL RIDDLE PADA SUB MATERI JARINGAN HEWAN DAN TUMBUHAN SISWA SMP KELAS VII

Abstract


Student activity sheets are teaching materials used by teachers to guide and engage students actively in learning activities. The absence of LKS and laboratory infrastructure facilities for learning class VII animal and plant tissue at Sawahan 1 Junior High School became an obstacle in achieving learning objectives. This development research aims to develop worksheets based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) with pictorial riddles on sub-material of animal and plant tissue for Class VII junior high school students and to determine LKS validity and student responses to LKS eligibility. The study was conducted with 8 steps of R&D research according to Sugiyono. The development steps include: (1) Potential and Problems (2) Data Collection (3) Product Design (4) Design Validation (5) Design Revision (6) Product Testing (7) Product Revision (8) Limited production. Data analysis showed a validity level of 83.65% with the criteria "Fairly Valid" and the feasibility rate of 84.38% with the criteria "Very Worthy". So, HOTS-based LKS with a pictorial riddle can be used as Class VII SMP Science teaching material on the sub-material of Animal Networks and Plant Networks. Keywords: Development, HOTS LKS, Pictorial Riddle
