Pendekatan Person Centered berbasis nilai unggah-ungguh dalam pelayanan BK di sekolah

Abstract


Layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah sangatlah dibutuhkan oleh setiap siswa, karena pada dasarnya setiap individu pasti mempunyai masalah sehingga membutuhkan bantuan dari konselor dalam mengarahkan siswa. Konselor dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada siswa haruslah menerapkan nilai unggah-ungguhyaitu dalam bentuk menghargai dan menerima siswa apa adanya tanpa harus memilah ataupun memilih dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada siswa. Seperti halnya dalam pendekatan person centered, konselor harus bisa menerima siswa dalam segala keadaan, serta situasi apapun yang sedang dialami oleh siswa. Pada pendekatan person centered yang mengutamakan hubungan antara konselor dan konseli, diharapkan konselor mampu menerapkan sikap unconditional positif regard, mendengarkan secara aktif serta non-judgemental.

 

Counseling and guidance services in the school is needed by every student, because basically every individual must have problems that require assistance from counselors in directing students. Counselors in providing services to students should apply the value of the uploads that are in the form of appreciating and accepting students as they are without having to sort or choose in providing services to students. Just as in a person centered approach, counselors should be able to accept students in all circumstances, as well as any situations that are being experienced by students. In a person centered approach that prioritizes the relationship between counselor and counselee, the counselor is expected to be able to apply the positive unconditional attitude regard, listen actively and non-judgmental
