PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GEOGRAFI BERBASIS KARAKTERISTIK WILAYAH TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH

Abstract


Model pembelajaran geografi berbasis karakteristik wilayah mengarahkan mahasiswa pada keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Keterampilan pemecahan masalah yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa digunakan untuk memberikan solusi dari masalah suatu wilayah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan quasy ekperimen dengan 70 mahasiswa sebagai peserta. Penelitian dilakukan di Prodi Pendidikan Geografi Universitas PGRI Kanjuruhan Malang, semester ganjil tahun akademik 2021/2022 pada matakuliah Geografi Sumber Daya Alam. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes esai dan analisis data menggunakan uji mann-whitney test dengan taraf signifikan 5% setelah dilakukan uji prasyarat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh hasil: model pembelajaran geografi berbasis karakteristik wilayah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan mahasiswa dalam memecahkan masalah.
