PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN STEMTERHADAP KEMAMPUAN LITERASI MATEMATIS PADA SISWA KELAS 5 SD

Abstract


Siswa sekolah dasar sering mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar materi matematika. Kesulitannya yaitu guru kurang menggunakan model dan media pembelajaran dalam mengajar di kelas sehingga menyebabkan siswa kurang memahami materi yang diajarkan oleh guru. Selain itu guru juga kurang memberikan soal latihan matematika yang bervariasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) terhadap kemampuan  literasi matematis pada siswa kelas 5 SD. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi Experimental Design. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah RPP, soal postest, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini adalah . Sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa  ditolak. Jadi ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) terhadap kemampuan  literasi matematis pada siswa kelas 5 SD.
