PENGARUH INDEKS ASIA TERHADAP IHSG PADA BURSA EFEK INDONESIA PERIODE 2014-2022

Abstract


This study aims to jointly and partially prove the effect of Asian stock indices on the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) in the 2014-2022 period. The research was conducted by observing the JCI on the Indonesian Stock Exchange and Asian regional indices, namely the Nikkei 225 index,Korean Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI), Hang SengIndex, Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite (SSEC), and BSE Sensex with a total sample of 540 sample data obtained from the closing price (Closing Price) monthly in the 2014-2022 period. This study used quantitative methods with descriptive statistical analysis and was tested usingSoftware SPSS 25. The results of this study simultaneously the Nikkei 225 index, KOSPI, HSI, SSEC, and BSE Sensex have a significant influence on the JCI by 75.10%. Partially the Nikkei 225 Index and KOSPI have a significant negative effect on the JCI, the Hang Seng Index and the BSE Sensex have a significant positive effect on the JCI. However, the SSEC Index has no influence on the JCI.
