Abstract


This study is titled "The Influence of Financial Literacy, Income, and Financial Technology on Capital Market Investment Decisions among the Millennial Generation in Madiun City." The aim of this research is to examine the influence of financial literacy, income, and financial technology on capital market investment decisions among the millennial generation in Madiun City. The population in this study consists of the residents of Madiun City. The sample in this research comprises millennials aged 23 to 43, selected through purposive sampling, resulting in 384 respondents. The method employed in this research is a quantitative approach utilizing questionnaires, while the data analysis employs SPSS 23. The data is analyzed using multiple linear regression, classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing (t-test), and simultaneous testing (F-test). Based on the t-test results, it is found that the financial literacy variable (X1) significantly and partially influences investment decisions (Y) with a significance value of 0.000. Income (X2) significantly and partially influences investment decisions (Y) with a significance value of 0.000. Financial technology (X3) does not significantly influence investment decisions (Y) with a value of 0.701. Meanwhile, based on the F-test results, it is found that financial literacy, income, and financial technology collectively and simultaneously influence investment decisions (Y) with a significance value of 0.00.
